Twisted Sisters
Last Dollar Road
Quaking Aspens (Populus tremuloides) are a clone species, connected through a common root system. These sister trees are from a dense and twisted stand of Aspens in the San Juan Mountains, Aspen root systems can be tens of thousands of years old, some of the oldest life on Earth.
