Though Chris travels regularly across the American West and High Plains, he calls Colorado home. He lives where the Colorado Plateau — which spans the states of Colorado, Utah, Arizona, and New Mexico — crashes into the Western Slope of the Rocky Mountains. There may be no better backyard anywhere.
