The photograph is infused at high temperatures into a special polymer substrate bonded to a sheet of polished aluminum; effectively sealing the photograph into the substrate and bonding the photograph to the aluminum sheet. This combination brings out the vibrant colors and reveals the details in the shadows, which fully realizes the depth of the photograph. The high gloss finish of the metal print is waterproof, fade-resistant, scratch-resistant, and easy to clean. Though ready to hang, these metal prints can also be framed for a more traditional photographic presentation.
Metal Prints under 60 inches have the hanging mount attached directly to the aluminum sheet. Metal Prints 60 inches or longer will be made with an Exhibit Mount, which backs the print with a sheet of black 2mm Styrene resin adding additional rigidity to the larger prints; this is finished with a black metal inset frame ready for hanging.
